You ask me to quit calling,
you speak in words of hate.
You say you never loved me,
And that all those words were fake.

I’ve never really hurt you;
At times I thought it was fair.
But you put me down and ridiculed,
and never seem to care.

I thought that you were different,
and that you`d never hurt me.
But now I know the real you,
now it`s the truth I see.

Your intentions were clear all along,
you didn`t hide them well.
I soon found that all you wanted
was to kick me when I fell.

But I am smarter now,
for the support I have from my friends.
I know for sure next time,
this definitely won`t be how it ends.
